Plant Health Care Program
If you want healthier plants and greater peace of mind, our plant health care program is for you! Here’s what it includes:
- Spring 1: From March through May, we will inject a fertilizer into the root systems of your trees and shrubs, as well as a preventative systemic insecticide to prevent insect damage.
- Spring 2: In May and June, we will visually inspect your trees and shrubs and apply insecticide to help control harmful insects.
- Summer: From July through August, we will continue to inspect your trees and shrubs and apply insecticide and fungicide when needed.
- Late Summer/Early Fall: In September and October, we will check your trees and shrubs and take care of recurring problems, as well as late season pests.
- Winter: We will apply horticultural oil to the stems and foliage of your landscape plants in November and December to prevent damage and control mites.
Turf Grass Program
If you struggle with your lawn, or just want it to look better, our turf grass program can help. Here’s what it entails:
- Spring 1: In February and March, we will apply a fertilizer with crabgrass preventer to promote color and help your grass recover from damage.
- Spring 2: During March and April, we will actively treat your lawn for broadleaf weeds, especially since this is when these weeds are actively growing.
- Summer: From June through August, we will visually inspect your lawn and apply fungicide for disease control.
- Late Summer/Early Fall: In September or October, we will aerate and overseed your lawn, in addition to applying fall fertilizer and lime to reestablish healthy turf.
- Winter: When winter arrives during November and December, we will promote a healthy root system in your lawn by applying a winter fertilizer.
